I just listened to "Computer Blue" for the first time in many years. It was always my favorite tune off the "Purple Rain" record. For me, it kind of encapsulates many aspects of Prince's musical genius. It's hard to believe it's been 32 years since the release of that groundbreaking album!

The mid-1980's were great and terrible years for me, personally, and Prince's music (with help from the wondrously portable Sony Walkman) was always in the middle of things. A fond farewell to a great artist and pioneer. Hope you're in a better place. ☮︎
